Excellent Bead and Bead Supplies Storage
I have used just about every storage method there is, including the popular little zip-top bags that we've all seen. I gave up on these a few years back, though, after having more trouble with split plastic, faulty seams, and bad zip tops. However, I finally found that I just can't live without some little zip top bags, so I was desperate to find a good supplier. Fortunately for me, I found the fine folks at The Zip Source, purveyors of the finest plastic zip top bags I have ever seen.The Zip Source bags are available in the familiar 2mil thickness; similar to that of a plastic sandwich bag. They also offer the heavy-duty 4 mil thickness; perfect for beads with sharp edges, stone beads, or anything very abrasive. Bag sizes range from a tiny .75 x .75" up to 13 x 18" and even larger; perfect for yarn, fiber, books, tutorials and other storage needs.
The quality of the plastic zip-top bags from The Bead Source is impressive; after many purchases at various times and certainly from multiple manufacturing lots, I have yet to find any split plastic, tears, unsealed seams, or bad zippers. The bags last a long time without yellowing, becoming brittle or sticky, or otherwise disintegrating.
The prices are great, as is the selection. The Zip Source customer service is the finest I've yet to experience in any bead or bead-related store. Email inquiries are answered almost immediately, always courteously and with the answers to my questions. Shipping is lightning-fast, packing is perfect and bottom line, I would give The Zip Source six stars if I had more than five to offer!
