The Correct Way to Tear Out Your Beadwork
How to Tear Out Your Beadwork

The correct technique for undoing your beadwork stitching - grasp each bead in your fingertips and remove it. Pull short lengths of thread to prevent tangling and knots.

If you do not want to break a bead to correct a mistake in your beadwork, you can simply tear out the stitching that you have already done until you reach the mistake.

To tear out the beadwork stitching correctly, ALWAYS remove your needle from the thread before beginning to tear out the stitches.

Grasp each bead in your fingertips one at a time and pull gently. Never try to pull more than one arm's length of thread at a time. Pulling shorter lengths of thread will prevent the thread from tangling and knotting.
