These beads are not lined up correctly in order to be zipped together to form a beaded bead or tube.

After you have finished the piece of peyote stitch or brick stitch that you want to zip up into a tube or beaded bead, line up the ends with each other.

If your beads look like the picture above, then you do not have the beads in the right position. In this picture, the beads will not zip together correctly and there will be gaps left in the tube.

The ends of your beadwork should mesh together much like the teeth of a zipper.
