Trim the edges of the Turn the antique typewriter key pendant over and trim the bead backing material close to the edge of the stitching, taking care not to cut through any of the stitches.

Once you have trimmed the bead backing, use a dark brown permanent marker to touch up the white edges of the bead backing. Make sure to cover any white that may show when you wear your beaded pendant.

Now, turn the pendant face down on your work table. Spread a layer of Gem-Tac glue over the stitches and the bead backing. Place the small section of Ultrasuede on top of this. Turn the pendant over, place it on top of a small piece of waxed paper so that it does not stick to your work table, place a weight on top and allow the glue to dry.

Once the glue has dried, trim the Ultrasuede just a bit wider than the bead backing material, then re-touch any white that is showing with the permanent marker. Add the chain or strap of your choice by either using a piece of beading wire or by adding a small tab or loop to the top of the pendant.

Enjoy your new antique typewriter key beaded pendant!
