Wrap the Ladder Stitched Beads Around the Straw

Carefully wrap the section of ladder stitched beads around the section of drinking straw, making sure that there are no gaps or places where the straw shows through. The set of ten bugle beads should be enough to completely cover the straw, without leaving spaces or overlapping.

Once the beads are in place, stitch back through a few of the beads to secure them, then, unthread your needle, and thread it through the tail you left when you began the ladder stitch. Stitch this piece of thread back through a few of the beads, ending at a spot where the two threads are exiting beads next to each other. Tie a secure knot, add a tiny dab of glue (optional) and cut the threads.
