Begin Making the Beaded Lantern using Ladder Stitch

Begin the Ladder Stitch by threading your beading needle with approximately 36" of beading thread. Leaving an 8" tail of thread, begin by placing a black seed bead, a green bugle bead, then two black seed beads, another green bugle bead and one more black seed bead on to your PowerPro or Fireline beading thread, as shown in the image below.
