Emerald Lantern Beaded Necklace

Gather your Beading Supplies

• 22 Size 20 Bugle Beads - Emerald Green
• 48 Size 11/0 Seed Beads - Black
• 2 Swarovski Crystal Bicone beads - 10mm
• 7 Swarovski Crystal Bicone beads - 6mm
• 6 Swarovski Crystal Bicone Beads - 4mm
• 1 Gold colored or gold-plated headpins - 2 1/2", 22 gauge
• 1 Gold colored or gold plated piece of - 2 1/2", 22 gauge
• 2 Pieces French Wire - 10mm each piece
• 1 piece of drinking straw, approximately 1" long (just slightly shorter than your bugle beads)
• 2 pieces of double-sided extra sticky tape (used with tiny, no-hole beads) long enough to go around the straw in two places
• 1 - Gold colored Snap Clasp
• 1 length gold-colored 7 or 19 wire beading wire, approximately 20"
• 1 - 36" length beading thread such as Power Pro or Fireline Clear to make the lantern (not shown)
• Beading Needle (not shown)

• Gather your Beading Supplies
• Begin Making the Beaded Lantern using Ladder Stitch
• Step Two of the Ladder Stitch for the Emerald Lantern
• Step Three of the Ladder Stitch for the Emerald Lantern
• Continue the Ladder Stitch
• Prepare the Piece of Straw to Hold the Beads in Shape
• Wrap the Ladder Stitched Beads Around the Straw
• Assemble the Emerald Lantern
• Assemble the Emerald Lantern Beaded Necklace
