Begin by creating a Peyote Stitch tube according to the graph pictured below. Here are a set of instructions for Even Count Tubular Peyote Stitch.

Leave some slack (about 2 beads worth) in the circle when you start. Try to keep your tension pretty loose as you go because this tube has to fit on the bead. It should be real tight when you get it on, but not so tight it won't fit! I do not recommend using Japanese seed beads with this pattern. They are sized differently than Czech seeds and any major variation from the beads used to create this pattern will likely not work.
