This bead pattern creates the cutest Beaded Owl earrings, ever. The Owl is sacred to the Goddess Athena, and is the symbol of wisdom, knowledge and the Moon, since owls thend to hunt and get active only after sundown. For these earrings, you'll need to know Brick Stitch along with how to increase and decrease. If you are an experienced Peyote Stitch beader, you can always turn the pattern on its side (90 degrees) and bead it in Peyote stitch.
