Write and Print Project Instructions for Each Guest

Write up a basic beading tutorial for each project you plan to offer. Make sure that the instructions are clear and concise. If you plan to use instructions or free bead patterns from an Internet source, be sure to contact the author and ask for permission to use the bead patterns in this capacity.

Once you receive permission, please be sure to give credit. Make sure the designer is noted on the handouts. A nice touch is to mention the name of the designer to your goup when you introduce the project.

To add a nice touch to your handouts, do the following:
  • Slip each page of the tutorial or bead pattern into a plastic page protector
  • Pass a piece of festive ribbon through the top hole of the page protectors
  • Slide the ribbon through an equally festive bead and tie a knot.
  • Offer these as a "party favor" for your guests to take home with them after the party.
