Beads like these can keep me perusing my stash for days, looking for the right accent beads. Lampwork beads made with a base glass over which frit (a finely-crushed glass used to decorate the surface of lampwork beads) has been applied are usually fairly easy to match, as the glass colors used are fairly uniform. Because glass must all be of the same COE (coefficient of expansion) when blended together to make lampwork beads, the frits are usually made of the same glass that the bead making rods are made from, just crushed and prepared in mixes for bead makers.
Occasionally, though, the glass companies will introduce a new glass colors, from which the base bead may be made, causing the frit colors to change or look different, which makes matching them up even harder. And these little lentil beads, made by Blue Seraphim Handmade Lampwork do have an interesting range of colors in the frit - including the amber, shades of green, plus a tiny touch of an interesting steel blue. The beads are made on a base of either white or of ivory colored glass, meaning that the frit colors remained much the same, so that helps in finding spacer beads to match. And, of course, I just happened to have the right lampwork spacer beads from Serena's Beadery and from River Oaks Acres Beads, since they are the two finest lampwork spacer bead makers anywhere, with excellent prices and incredible workmanship on their beads.
