It's too bad, really, that the Glass Art 2007 - A 16 Month Calendar of Contemporary Lampwork Art calendar couldn't be longer than 16 months. Sixteen months is not enough of the absolutely glorious beads by lampwork artists including Amy Trescott, Stephanie Sersich, Heather Trimlett, Michael Barley, Patsy Evins and the delightful Sharon Peters.For the final four months of 2006, we are treated to the blue beauty of the borosilicate and soda-lime glasswork of Karl and Krista Tseu. Then, beginning in January, 2007, we are offered a fresh bead beauty each month. The pictures are beautifully photographed and reproduction is divine. With brilliant colors, astounding bead shapes, thoughtful layouts, each month's image offers a view of lampwork beads that can enlighten, inspire and give us a nice creative jump-start!
