A beading form is any solid, cylindrical object that you use to support in-progress tubular beadwork. Popular examples include wooden dowels and metal tubing from hardware stores, pencils and pens, and knitting needles. For very narrow beaded tubes, you can use the needle-end of a beading awl as a form; just be careful not to prick your fingers on its tip.
