Downsides
The only downsides I found with the Tacky Bob™ is that the sticky surfaces caused my hands and my needle to feel a bit gummy and sticky after beading for a while. I found that a quick clean-up of my fingers and needle with a Wet-Ones® or other premoistened towelette solved the problem and I didn't even have to get out of my chair.The other downside is, of course, the tape tends to attract lint, fuzz, pet hair and other bits like a magnet. However, unless you drop the Tacky Bob™ face down onto the fuzzy parts of an actively shedding longhair cat, you are not likely to find this to interference with the use of your Tacky Bob™; just a cosmetic one. And if you're like most pet owners, you're probably used to this.
