Great Beading Patterns

This is more of a pattern book than a "lesson or "tutorial" reference, but there is one helpful item in this book that I have not seem in others - instructions for using a "take off strip". This is an excellent way to start any Peyote project and one that I highly recommed. Brenda write a two-page tutorial to cover this helpful item and makes a very nice addition to the book.

The patterns in the book are printed in B&W using symbols. I find that symbols are a bit hard on my eyes - other prefer tham. I've solved my problem by simply making a copy of the page and simply marking the cells with a colored pencil. If you prefer a symbol graph, then you will like these very much.

The patterns Morgan Le Fay and Merlin by the Lake would make good companion pieces, and the Dragon Medallion and Scroll Medallion are beautiful and would make stunning necklaces. Brenda does not let us down in the design department adn these patterns are created with a lot of attention to detail along with clarity and good use of color.

I recommend this as an addition to any beaders library. Pick up your copy today!
