Sandra Halpenny designs some of the most beautiful beading patterns I've ever seen. Light laces, beautifully intertwined patterns and delightful designs are created and beaded with beautiful, high quality beads. And now, much to the delight of beaders everywhere, Sandra is offering beading kits!I got to see the lovely Emerald Elegance bead kit, and is it ever wonderful. The patterns is easy to follow, with clear and concise instructions. The beads are high quality, and include a spool of C-Lon Thread from Caravan Beads. The seed beads are Miyuki brand and there are lovely Czech fire polish beads as accents. The clasp looks hand made of sterling silver wire.
The pattern is surprisingly easy to follow, Sandra seems to know exactly which steps will need detail and which will be easier to understand. The graphs are clear and a cinch to follow.
This is a great basic beading kit of any skill level. Even a new beader, with just a little seed bead experience can follow the thread path and the clearly written instruction make it easy to understand the steps. The finished necklace is gorgeous and can be worn with casual or dressy clothes.
