Two and Three Drop Peyote Stitch Tutorial

To begin, on a comfortable length of thread, pick up your first two rows of beads. In order to do two-drop peyote, you will be stitching two beads at a time instead of one, so make sure that you double the number of beads that you will be using.

Also keep in mind that if you pick up an even number of sets of 2 beads, you will be working in flat even count peyote stitch.
If you pick up an odd number of sets of 2 beads, you will be working in flat odd count peyote stitch.

After you have picked up the first two rows of beads, pick up 2 more beads. Skip the two beads at the end of the row and pass needle through the next two beads.
