Gather Your Materials

To do square stitch, you will need the following materials and supplies: seed beads; Nymo, Fireline or other beading thread; a beading needle; scissors; G-S Hypo Cement or other glue (optional); flat nose pliers. Then string a stop bead on a comfortable length of beading thread: pick up one seed bead and take needle and thread back through the bead in the same direction so that the thread forms a loop and catches the bead. Slide the bead so that you have about a 6” tail.
