Attach the Floral Focal Pendant
Lady Jane Necklace Free Beading Pattern

Adding the focal pendant to the necklace.

Jennifer VanBenschoten
To attach the focal pendant, pick up two size 15/0 beads, the pendant, a 4mm bead and a size 15/0 bead. Skip the last 15/0 bead added and pass needle back through the 4mm bead, the pendant and the two size 15/0 beads picked up.

Pass needle and thread through either the 6mm below the 4mm you exited or the 4mm above the 6mm you exited. Pull snugly to secure the pendant.

Weave back through the necklace to repeat the thread path and secure the pendant to the front of the necklace.

To end the thread in the necklace, it is helpful to weave from the back of the necklace so that you will not have to move the pendant aside to see where the thread is. To do this, simply flip the necklace over and pull the needle and thread through the beadwork to the back of the necklace.

Knot the thread, add a drop of glue if desired, weave in a bit more and trim the thread close to the beadwork.
