Spiral Peyote Tube Earrings Free Beading Pattern

A Free Beaded Earring Pattern

This pair of peyote stitch earrings is made with a simple beaded tube bead, Swarovski crystals and gold-filled beads.  They work up fast and are pretty and sophisticated.

1. Materials Needed

To make these earrings, you will need the following materials nad tools:

  • 1 gram each size 11 Delica beads in the following colors: matte metallic bronze, matte opaque cream, color lined beige, color lined rhubarb
  • 4 Swarovski crystal bicones, antique rose, 4mm
  • 4 gold filled round beads, 3mm
  • 4 gold filled rondelle beads, 4mm
  • 2 gold filled head pins, 20 gauge, 3 inches long
  • 1 pair gold filled ear wires
  • Fireline beading thread, 4 lb. test
  • Size 12 beading needle
  • Chain nose pliers
  • Round nose pliers (or combination pliers)
  • Wire cutters
  • Scissors or thread cutters

2. Stitch the Peyote Pattern

Work this pattern in flat peyote stitch using the Delica beads.  When you are finished, zip it up into a tube

3. String the Beads On a Head Pin

On a head pin, string the following beads:

  • 3mm gold filled bead
  • 4mm Swarovski bicone
  • 4mm rondelle
  • Peyote tube bead
  • 4mm rondelle
  • 4mm Swarovski bicone
  • 3mm gold filled

Make a wrapped loop at the top of the head pin.

4. Add the Earring Finding

Using the chain nose pliers, open the loop on your earring finding and add the head pin with the beads.  Firmly close the loop on the earring finding.

5. Make the Other Earring

Repeat these steps to make a second earring.
