11. Weave-In and End the Thread

Weave-in the thread by repeating this process several times: Pass through a few beads, pull the thread gently taut, and tie a half-hitch knot over the existing thread that runs between beads.

The upper photo on the left shows a half-hitch knot in progress. To make one, you bring the thread beneath and then up over the thread you're tying around, and then pass the needle through the loop of thread that you just created.

After weaving in, use a thread burner to trim the thread close to the beadwork.

Thread the needle onto the thread tail that you left when you started beading, and use the same technique to weave it in.

12. Attach an Ear Wire

Use chain nose pliers to gently bend the metal ring on one of the ear wires to the side to open it. Slide the beaded top loop on the beadwork into that ring, and then use the pliers to close the ring.
