Adding the slide lock clasp to the bracelet.

The spacing for the clasp will depend on what type of clasp(s) you use.

If you are using the magnetic clasps, attach them to the second and fifth A beads on either end of the bracelet. Using the tail, pick up 2 or 3 D beads, one half of the clasp, and 2 or 3 D beads. Pass needle down through the A bead next to the one you are exiting, then back up through the bead you exited at the beginning of the step. Reinforce the thread path two or three times before weaving back into the row of A beads and adding the second clasp in the same manner.

If you are using the slide lock clasp, center it against the row of A beads and attach it using seed beads loops in the same way you would add the magnetic clasp. When adding the slide lock clasp, leave the clasp fastened while you attach it to make sure that you don't twist it around while stitching it to the bracelet.

NOTE ABOUT MAGNETIC CLASPS:
Do NOT use a magnetic clasp if you have a pacemaker or other electrical cardiac device. Please check with your physician before using a magnetic clasp of any type, as the magnet may interfere with certain cardiac devices.
