After the third row, continue to read each row of the pattern individually, switching direction with each row. The diagrams above show the fourth and fifth rows being stitched.

To help keep your place, you can cover your completed rows with a sticky note, or you can cross them out. Just keep in mind that because peyote stitch rows are offset, half of each bead from the previous row is always visible.
