Definition:
Twin beads, also called Twin seed beads, are oval-shaped, two-hole seed beads produced by the Czech company Preciosa. Each bead measures about 2.5 to 3 millimeters long and 5 millimeters wide. Twins are available in at least 80 color/finish combinations.

Twins' rounded shapes allow them to blend with your beadwork visually (as opposed to two-hole Tila beads, which create more obvious accents). Because each Twin bead has two parallel holes, you can use Twins to stitch and link regular seed beads in unique and interesting ways.
