This is the amazing beaded clasp on Nina C. Dillman's necklace Destination: Mars on a Rocket Ship. The front of the necklace features a gorgeous, moveable red orb designed to actually look like the planet Mars, and this toggle is the little rocket flaming its way to the red planet.
The clasp includes beads made of the gemstone hematite, as well as natural red coral. A metal headpin inside the toggle bar makes it sturdy. Red-orange iris seed beads make up the supple fringe of flames at one end.
