This is one of the most unique books I have seen in a while. This technique is used to make fantastic bib type necklaces, and Carole is a master instructor!
The book opens with a tutorial for this particular stitch, which is unlike anything I've seen. The unique pattern is easy to do once you get the hang of it. Beginning the row, ending threads, making the actual necklace, making the straps and closings are all covered in clear detail. She ven gives instructions for making earrings with this stitch.
Carole also goes over many good basic information topics, which also makes this a good book for beginners, although the stitch is aimed at more advanced beaders. The graphics throughout the book are excellent. The patterns are many, beautiful and easy to understand. Carole even includes some blank graph paper so you can design your own necklaces and earrings.
Next time you're ready for something different, give this one a try. I think it is a must have for every beader's library!
