| These next two beaded items were sent in by beader Gabrielle Beer. |
|
The first piece is one side of a keyring I did for my sister who's just
bought a new car. It was inspired by the square stitch padded ornament on
your site but it is done in flat round peyote using a slight variation of a
pattern of yours. The reverse side features a daisy pattern and inspired
the next piece.

|
This is a small amulet bag necklace. The amulet is done in flat round
peyote with five sides so that there is a definite top & bottom. The
reverse is plain & the closure at the top is a button. The chain is from
your vivid neckpiece pattern but the daisy part uses coloured beads, I was
looking for a nice but strong daisy patterned strap when you posted that
pattern, it was perfect!

Thanks to you, I had a great idea for Easter last year. I took your
Netted Marble and did a few, then I found these lovely little eggs. I
modified the pattern to fit the eggs, and look at the lovely set I call
fondly "Splendor in the Grass". Most call it easter fun. Just thought I
would send you a picture of the work I am now doing, it is in larger
than I would have liked beads. Now
it is on exhibit in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana library. It also has won
me 2 blue ribbons, one at a Pow Wow, and the other at the Parish fair.
Thanks to all the guidance and the inspiration you give to others
learning to bead. I am presently known as a Master Weaver on the Pow Wow
Trail in the South.

Here are 2 of my newest efforts. The necklace is the only thing I have EVER made just for me and I love it. Turquoise cabs, 15 seeds, and MOP oat beads .

|
The white deerskin neck purse has an awesome picture agate surrounded by cobalt transparents and metallic gold in size 11's. I call it "land where 2 rivers meet".
