This bead embroidery was stitched and sent to us by Rita DeerSky.
This is a 3" barrette I made out of 13/0 charlotte cut beads. It is applique on pellon and then backed with felt or leather. It is one of the prettiest butterflys that I have made lately.

This is a dragonfly barrette that I made out of 9/0 cut beads. It is made with the "loom without a loom" stitch. The wings are made out of a blue iris cut bead and the body is made out of a green iris cut bead. The fringe is finished off with a blue crystal a/b bead. It looks like diamonds when you go in the sunshine. The scan does not do the piece justice.

Liz Duffey sent pictures of some suncatchers she beaded along with her version of the Marble Necklace.
I created these cute mule mascot sun catchers for a few of my sons friends when they graduated high school. They were both going to Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO and they always have such cute stuff hung on the rear view mirror of their cars. These are done in a brick stitch and then hung on a strand of softflex strung with beads. (They are made so they CAN be worn as necklaces for something funkly like a football game over a turtleneck etc.) They were a real hit and I had lots of fun making them.

Also attached is a variation of your marble necklace. I made this as a choker and it has been an absolute hit with the college age kids. They say it is a great mix of "grunge and gothic" (if you don't understand the terminology ... grunge is the baggy pants, keds, lots of chains etc. and gothic is the very "dark" look with black hair, white faces, black nails etc.) It sits on the neck very nicely and I was asked to make one for a 42 year old mom who said she usually looks terrible in chokers but loved how this one looked on her.

This beadwork was sent in by Bev Tiner.
I just started beading this year and really love it. I've attached two files, which are my interpretation of two designs that I've found on your site. Hope you like them. blockquote>
These fun fish were beaded by Sharon Lawrence.
I finally finished a pair of your finny friends. As you can see from the scan. I kinda followed your pattern. But as I was not sure on the increasing and such I improvised. I couldn't access the page that you had linked on the fish page. But you asked to see our attempts, so here's mine. It took me 2 and 1/2 weeks but the next pair should go a bit faster.(gbg)

These "Rings of Sturn" were sent to us by MarLin Beads.
This is our favorite Rings of Saturn yet. We continue to play with various embellishing techiniques to make each one unique. We visited Embellishment this year in Portland and had lots of great response. Will be teaching in Southern Cal this year, and more locations next year.

A Lattice patterned purse was beaded and an imae sent to us by Corinne Imlay.
This 4" by 5" purse of #11 black seed beads in a lattice pattern that is embellished with grape leaves and a grape cluster, both of my own design. The leaves are delicas done in a brick stitch. The grapes are amethyst-color "E" beads in a three dimensional free-form pattern. The chain is bronze color. It was a birthday gift for my dear friend Irma.
