| This beaded lampshade was created by Marilyn Aronson. |
|
This is a beaded lampshade with twisted fringe covering the spokes of the lamp. The lamp base is quite large, 14" vertically and 12" wide. I used size 11 seed beads. My friend is an electrician and supplied matching red wire. I then covered 20 glass beads in my own beaded design for the dangles. I put a mylar sheet inside the frame so the harp wouldn't show. This was truly what is known as an ever lasting project...that went on and on and on....One day I finished.

| More African Net, this time beaded by Star-Xed. |

Here is the scan of the necklace I said I'd send. I think
I'll do this stitch in a tubular fashion for the earrings.

| This is an interpretation of Freeform Beading by Miki Robinson. |
|
This is my first attempt at freeform. I used mainly size 11s with some accent beads. The stitches I used were Peyote, Netting, and R-A-W. I used the instructions from the About.com site for freeform braclet as a jumping off point, but was at a loss as to how to convert them into a necklace, especially since I wasn't using any bead as a focal point! Got lots of help from my Internet friends on how to start this and an awful lot of encouragement along the way! Thanks gals, you're a great support group!

| This beautiful beaded bracelet was sent in by Pat Gibson of Serenity by Design. |
|
Here is a bracelet I have been wanting to share for quite awhile, just haven't gotten to it.
I started out to do a simple spiral bracelet using your spiral directions...all of a sudden it had a life of its own and I added a strip of peyote on each side of the spiral. Then, of course, out came all the scrap pearls and shells with a few adventurine and Austrian crystal thrown in. I used Delica and round #11 seed beads. What a hoot this little bracelet turned out to be. It is called "Tide at Dusk". It really reminds me of my nightly walks on the beach and all the little treasures at the surf line.

| A beaded Heart Locket was submitted by MarLin Beads. |
|
Heart Locket Gone Wild: I designed a tame
little freeform heart-shaped amulet and my bead partner Linda took it to the
next wilder step, therefore.....the Heart Locket Gone Wild, This particular
scan looked better in black and white.
