Attached is an amulet purse of 11/0 seed beads in peyote stitch with branching embellishments. It was my first time doing branching so I got a little carried away, thus it became the "Furry Purse".

Attached is a jpg of a holiday present I made for my sweetie, Mike. It's
called "Nebulas". The lampworked bead is one that I made especially for this
necklace. The strap is made in peyote stitch and features lots of small
nebulas floating in cobalt blue space. It is made with size 14 and 15 beads,
both Japanese and Czech including charlotte cuts for sparkle.

I do most of my amulet bags in net stitch because it's so pretty and
quick, but "Rainforest" held a few firsts for me. This was the first
time I'd made branched fringe so short. It curled nicely with added
tension on the thread. The "vine" of peridot chips was the first time
I'd used beadwork to embellish the front of a bag--usually I sew on a
charm. And the dangles on the neckstrap were something I hadn't seen
or done before--they do hang perfectly straight when the bag is worn,
but scanners tend to squash things.
