This necklace was quick and fun to make. Although it doesn't show up well on the
scan, the wire is dark green; the squiggles and swirls were made by wrapping the
wire around a pencil, etc. It took three passes with the wire to get it wide
enough. If you decide to try it, be sure to load all the beads onto the wire
BEFORE you start bending it up. The big blue round marble like bead was one I
made in a recent glass bead making class with Rae Friedman of Good Medicine
Beads.

The Princess and the Pea (Kim's Delica Challenge entry):
I decided to do a Fairy Tale as I have two small daughters and we read
*a lot* of fairy tales!!! I also like my beadwork to be fun and whimsical
and not particularly serious. Well executed, but not serious in nature.
This piece is an 'art purse'. It will spend more time adorning my dresser
than my body! :-) And, as much as I want it to be included in the upcoming
Challenge book (fingers crossed), I'm dying to have it back.

This is Suzanne Cooper's design from her book, Then & Again. Started it
on Easter and got it done today, the 27th. Must be some kind of record
hehehe. I want to show it to you as I taught myself to bead starting
from your site. THANKS!

I took this dark green aventurine oval and surrounded it
with light green aventurine hearts beads and gold Czech Supras. I call it
"Florentine" because it evokes a rich, rather Italian feeling.
