This beadwork was sent in by David J. Lawrence.
Attached is an orchid I just finished. Also attached is a pic of the original orchid Psychopsis Papilo Syu-Tyu-Sen. The background is just a sampler I wove for another project. (43k)

The next beaded item on this page was sent in by Pinjinsa.
I started this piece this past winter and absolutely love it! I used various sizes and shapes of silver beads. When I walk it flows and with the cross attachment beads the fringe always comes back where it belongs and doesn't get caught in the neighboring fringe. Although I didn't add fringe behind the ear area or in the back, I did continue the edge beading and chose to tie the leather in a loose knot. I found the Deer hide formed to my head and there were no puckers or gaps due to it's suppleness. (37k)

This next set of beadwork was sent in by Cheryl Johnson AKA "AuroraB".
This piece is my first attempt at tubular peyote, "Red, White, and Blue Hearts", which was started at a class given in our local bead store. This was also my first attempt at kinky fringe. I love the tactile feel of this fringe! (46k)

The other two pieces are some early brick stitch pieces of my own design, Assymetry and Bargello in Pastels. (42k)

The final beaded piece on this page comes from Esmé Gregson.
I have recently started beading and most enjoy experimenting with color. I like "bleeding" from one color into the next, often dispursing a few beeds which are disharmonious to the current color I'm working in, in order to create a piece which is truly unique, and difficult to copy. In this particular piece I bled from green to purple, framing each end with white/opal/crystal seed beads--using the very easy and quick peyote stitch. (14k)
