Our first two pieces this week were sent in by Pat Savu.
Attached is a heart pin I made for a fundraising auction. It is made in 10/0 seeds in flat brick stitch, surrounded by circular brick stitch, and edged in 4-bead fretting (the white ruffle). The fringe is in 9/0 3-cuts with Czech pressed glass flowers. (22k)

Here's the last of three Titanic amulet pouches I did for Christmas. This one's a Christmas present for me. This one is Iceberg Kiss. It is 11/0 seeds in tubular brick stitch. The strap is jet and some large glass beads that looked like icedbergs to me. The pink lampwork roses are hand-made by JM Design that I bought at Embellishment. The fringe on the bottom is spiral fringe with black 9/0 3-cuts and has pink hearts floating on the "waves". This scene is from the Titanic movie when Jack and Rose are kissing and then the noise from the iceberg scraping the side of the boat causes them to turn around and look at it: a wall of ice aginst the night sky. The figures of Jack and Rose have two to three layers of brick and square stitched on. A row is square stitched to the row below it at the beginning and end. The beads in the center of a raised row are brick stitched to each other. Rose's hair is tiny loops every other bead. The back has the Titanic streaming along duirng the day like the other two pouches I did. The button for closure is a "passementerie" antique black glass button from the 19th century. (49k)

This next entry was sent in by Bobbi Kirk.
This is a necklace I did after taking David Chatt's workshop on right-angle weave. It's RAW and then embellished with vintage nailheads that are anywhere from 50 to 100+ years old! It's done with brown iris charlottes and the nailheads are also brown iris. Just sold it this Christmas with a matching bracelet. (43k)
This set of pieces was sent in by Kim Price AKA "Toronto".
The bracelet was inspired by your freeform peyote lesson in the summer. I had done 3-D peyote (as you know by Carmen and her sister!) but the freeform is wonderful. I've done about half a dozen bracelets since then and have started a choker and a necklace. I think it would have been wiser to stick to the bracelets but I don't tend to think small and easy. (15k)

The second picture is a bear eyeglass holder that I made for my Mom for Christmas. I just finished it (this moment) and thought I had better scan it while it was still in my possession. It's my first attempt at 2 drop peyote (worked up on your graph paper). My Mom collects old bears and is also an antique dealer (therefore the old-fashioned pull horse was added). I hope she likes it. It was worked around a toilet paper roll and is rather large, but she's not one for fussy. (52k)
