Our first piece this week comes from Rebecca Barker AKA "Waya".

This is half of the handfasting ribbon that I've mentioned in
chat. You're only getting half of it because that's all we could fit on
the scanner. The finished piece is approx 5 feet long and weighs about
4oz. Shala graphed the runes (great job!).

The pin scan I am sending is a carved moonstone cab that I beaded
around. I really like moonstone.It has some kind of soft, smooth feel
to it that appeals to me. The stars are Mother of Pearl and the bead
is also moonstone. I stitched the beads on pellon and then glued a
leather backing on the pin. This is a simple pin, yet the cab really
makes it.

This is my 1st ever attempt at a Dutch spiral. Even though it is not
a necklace it is a cute braclet that fits a 12 year old girl. ME!!!!!
