Our first piece this week comes from Pat Savu.

It is an amulet pouch representing my family. It was done in tubular brick stitch with 12/0 3-cuts. The fringe is mostly 11/0 seed beads and bugles. The strap was done in 12/0 3-cuts in regular flat brick stitch (you can see a closeup of it in the second attachment). I planned this pouch with the aid of Beadscape and the pattern for it will be appearing on that web page in the near future. My color in the pouch is the green. My husband is the black, Daughter Anne is the red, Daughter Ellen is white, ancestors are brown. Our totem animals are featured on the bottom: Husband-black bear, father-in-law brown bear, Anne red deer, Ellen artic fox, me malachite fox, my mother Tiger-eye dove, my grandma tiger-eye owl. This is a bottle that I did for my Mom, I got the bottle from Sarah (Beadnik). (32k)
This next piece is by Bobbie Kirk.
These two pins/pendants were done using the right angle weave; one over a face mask I made with fimo and the other one over a bone bead. I also used vintage sew-ons and nailheads for the features (eyes & mouths). (20k)
