Our first two pieces this week come from Elizabeth Thompson.
Here is a piece that I charted from a postcard that I received from France! I loved the cats so much that I had to bead it! The body is done in peyote and the strap is in spiral, with a fringe that I made up (but I am sure that someone else has done this before) and kitty cat charms! (40k) |

The second piece is from a book by Sheri Nelson, called Alaska in Beads it's "Polar Bear looking at the Northern Lights" - the straps will have a rattail strap attached to it, although a co-worker thought that it would be cool hanging on a belt. (47k) |

I have fallen totally in love with dutch spirals. The purple spiked spiral pattern and kit were designed by Rayney King of Raynmarked Designs; it is done with size 11's, 6's and 8's accent beads for the spiral portions and larger accent beads for the neck straps. (16k)
The second dutch spiral was the same spiral pattern that Rayney designed. I was curious to see what a spiral would look like with a lampwork bead in the center. I love dutch spirals; they are so versatile. (25k)
| This next piece is by Ruth Franklin. | |
This project started out as a simple pouch using the Easter Bunny pattern from BeadyBoop's pattern, then I got a little carried away and ended up with this extravagant thing. My favorite part is the carrots made from tubular peyote stitch. (52k)
