This is a pic of the beaded easter egg that I made
for my sweetheart. The egg is one of those plastic ones
you see at Easter time....about 3.5" along the long axis. It's done in
tubular peyote using #11 seed beads. I started in the middle of the egg, at
the bottom of the flamingo body, and worked upward. The sunburst happened
because I didn't like how empty the sky was starting to look, so Voila! The
bottom is not worked completely....I left about 1/2" of the egg exposed so
that the egg would stand by itself and not require a "ring" to sit on.

I adapted her from Carol Krob's Fantasy Angels book, it is a
plastic canvas book, she uses yarn for the angel and beads for the skirt
part, My 4th of July are way way way different from hers. I make them for
all different occasions.
