Our first piece this week comes from Donna Marie Williams More.

This fringed necklace was made for my friend Mo. It has iridescent glass, crystal, sterling silver and hematite, some from a necklace I bought on a trip with her in 1977. I designed it by making 79 eye pins from thin beading wire and laying my beads out on them. This way I could see the design before it would be too late to change anything, I felt safer storing the work in progress, and I knew beforehand that the hole would be big enough for the needle and thread to pass through twice. The image was made by laying the necklace on my Scanport scanner and laying a sheet of white paper over it. Without the white paper the reflections made the iridescent beads show up as all sorts of different brilliant colors, gorgeous, but not what I had made. (22k)

This next entry was sent in by Rebecca Holcombe.
The amulet design is my own, made with size 12 and 14 seed beads. The dragon is a Rebecca original too, size 12 seeds there, too. The waterfall fringe was inspired by the orca bag fringe. (Thanks!) This bag is one of my favorites. (31k)
This entry comes from Jackie Kincaid. See more of her original amulet bag designs on her lovely homepage.
I design all my own patterns on graph paper I have downloaded from your site. I work mostly with delicas. I did this bag in two drop peyote with a spiral rope chain strap (which I also found instructions on through your site). (44k)
This entry comes from Linda Giuliani.
The design is by Diane Fitzgerald. I interpreted it in a little different fashion. I made an extra beaded piece that works as a slip knot (instead of tying it) while wearing the necklace so that I will not lose it. I also did it longer and made more leaves. It looks FABULOUS with navy or black suits. This is my first attempt at beaded jewelry. (47k)
