This week's first entry comes from Ann Brodrick of A & B Art Glass & Beadwork.
Caged Agate Cabachon Bag.
Measures 2 1/4"H X 1 3/4"W
Strap measures 23" in length.

Milky white Agate enclosed in a beaded right angle weave cage of Matte Brown AB delicas then applied to a 2-Drop tubular peyote bag of the same color. Only the top portion of the caged agate is attached to the bag, allowing for light to pass through the semi-translucent stone. Strap created using right angle weave. (24k)

This piece was sent in by Mary Tafoya of Aunt Molly's Bead Street.
I had all the beads in my stash, er, collection, already, and the whole project went really fast! Especially the part with the big beads. I rarely try new techniques because I have so many projects waiting to try with the old techniques I know, but all the Dutch spirals on the WWW are sooo beautiful, so when you came out with the weekly project, I just had to try it out. Lynne Quinn (aka BeadJunkie) of Adelaide, Australia contributed this next piece.
I made him using the same beads as you did. Saphire Blue, Dark Aqua, Opaque Black and White..I love the idea of the adjustable strap, and will probably use it in other projects too. This Orca bag was really fun to make. (12k)
