This week's first entry comes from Sarah Merchant.
Here is a picture of an amulet purse I made. I designed it myself. It was made with size 11/0 seed beads. It is my first amulet bag. (14k)

This piece was sent in by Debbie Williams
This amulet was designed by CarolAnne Bouchles of MadCatBeads. It is beaded in the peyote stitch although the pattern is in Brick using all matte delicas. When I finished the amulet I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the fringe and neckchain. I wanted it to be a simple, bold statement just like the wolf itself. Then it came to me one day and I was able to finish it. (54k)
Ann Brodrick of A&B Art Glass & Beadwork contributed this next piece.
Its a beaded bezel cabachon pin incorporated with flat peyote work embellished with free form beaded flowers. (18k)
This one was sent to me by Nona Crane of Colorado.
I thought it would be interesting to do this on something other than earrings where you can't see your work. A bottle was a perfect medium to hang this kind of work from and with the sun at it's back it really makes a nice piece of art to enjoy.

Each bottle that I do, has a story behind it or a reason for the colors and way I've made it. This green bottle is designed after the Southwest and a trip I made to Santa Fe.

The colors and combination of colors is absolutely endless. It is a good way to use up seed beads and incorporate many other type of beads. (18k)
This next piece is by Beth Allen.
The brown disks in the upper part of the necklace are horn. There are also Raku, 6/0s and India glass beads in it. (18k)
Last but not least, we have three pieces by Starla Meador of Starwest Creations.
Fun fashion button covers with matching concho earrings. (24k)
