Pattern Instructions
This amulet bag is done in the usual peyote stitch. The flap was done on the backside of the bag and folds over. The strap is the basic spiral rope stitch. The fringe was done in 2 layers. The longer of the layers was sewn on the back of the bag while the shorter layer was done on the front of the bag. I hadn't really finished doing the entire fringe when I got started on something else. The bag was photographed at that point. I would add a teardrop to the flap, and a little something at the center point at the bottom of the bag to fill the blank area in the fringe.
