This wonderful little book starts off with some very good tips about beads, thread, needle, bead trays, lighting, storage, tools and glue. Excellent information, good advise and to the point. Barbara then goes on to give an outline of the techniques used for construction of the items in the book. In this book, she uses Brick Stitch, Right Angle Weave and Herringbone Stitch. These tutorials are very clear and easy to follow. In fact, her Herringbone instructions are probably the clearest and easiest to follow of the ones I've seen. Also covered are a simple and elegant crocheted beaded cord and a Daisy chain. As for the projects, they are, of course, just beautiful! I love all the birds, the Canadian Geese being a personal favorite. Also the Bouquest, the Village and the Lighthouse are wonderful. Make room on the shelf for this one, too!
