This book stands alone as a classic for every beader, and as a follow up to Beaded Images, it surpasses expectations! This is a good book for bird lovers, especially. There are lots of wonderful bird patterns in Brick Stitch, and gorgeous pendant pieces, too. Cute kitties, a lion, a puppy and some clowns are here, too, as well as many other cool patterns. Also, Barbara covers the basics of the stitch and goes into more detail, as well. There are even instructions for adding fringe to the finished pieces. Also again, excellent graphs are presented. Done in B&W, they are still very easy to read and follow, and tips are given for the construction of each piece. Another must for the library! And an excellent bargain, at the price.
