This book should be in the bead box or on the bead table of every beadworker, everywhere!

This has got to be one of the most comprehensive bead books ever published. A perfect volume for a beginner; there is information on practically everything to do with beads and beading.

The book starts by identifying and defining types of beads including seed beads, lampworked beads, druk beads, pressed glass beads, bugles, and more. Bead sizing, threads, cords, waxes, conditioners and needles are also discussed. Later, there is wonderful information on findings, wirework and graph paper.

Then there are the bead stitch instructions. This is not a bead pattern book, but an excellent general beading tutorial guide. Bead techniques covered include off loom bead weaving, loom beading, bead stringing, bead embroidery, knitting and crocheting with beads and beaded macrame. None of these topics is slighted, they are all covered in depth. The instructions are thorough and concise, the beading graphs are some of the easiest to read I have ever seen.

Tips, hints and helpful advice abound in this wonderful book and a copy should be on every beader's bookshelf!
