This is a lovely concept by the delightful Jennie Might. It was inspired by her mother's award-winning quilt "Eagle Eye" and includes 15 beadwork patterns for traditional Baltimore Album quilt blocks.
These patterns are just adorable. The angularity of the quilt block motif lends itself well to an interpretation in beadwork, and Jennie has dome a great job. Each square can be worn alone as a pin, or in groups, as Jennie herself does. Also included is a traditional border for making a complete miniature "beaded quilt", for a wonderful wall hanging or gift for a quilter.
These sweet little patterns include a lyre, a fruit bowl, a cornucopia, and orange tree and a house, just to name a few. Give this one a try for something a little different. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I did!
