I've always been intimidated by Bead Crochet, but this book from Judith Bertoglio-Giffin has helped to dispel much of that. 

With lots of clear and easy to see photographs and professional graphs, the art of Bead Crochet is made, if not simple, then at least much easier than I had thought. The writing is clear and understandable and the lovely photographs alone are worth the price of the book. 

This is a complete course and project book - consisting of instructions, hints, tips, complete project patterns, ideas, more advanced techniques and more. Judith does an excellent job of teaching the basics of both rope and flat crochet, as well as unexpected design help and layout instructions for your own designs. She also covers more advanced applications of Bead Crochet using bead size variations and incorporation of textural elements. If that's not enough, there is also a fine Gallery of Bead Crochet projects that will get your creative juices flowing! 

A very fine book, well worth the price.
