Ocean Sunset
I love working with these carved bone faces from Bali. The notch in the green stone (quartz druse over chrysocolla) seemed a perfect resting place for a face, and this discovery inspired "Ocean Sunset." The piece is done in size 15 Japanese beads using backstitch, and is embellished with very small freshwater pearls and aventurine chips. The pendant is 2 3/4" wide by 2 3/8" high, and the completed necklace is 22" long.
