Delica brand beads are the current bead of choice for many seed beaders. They are wonderful to work with; perfect little cylinders in tons of glorious colors and finishes. Doing Peyote or Brick Stitch with these is so much fun as they link together perfectly, making a unbeatable texture.

However, because there are so many different colors, treatments, finishes and styles, figuring out which to purchase for a new Delica beader can be a bit daunting. Most of us prefer to start a new collection with a good assortment of beads that we can use, rather than just picking them up as the spirit moves us!

I have shopped at a wonderful on-line bead shop called Charlene's Bead Shop, which is where I get my regular seed beads. Charlene has a terrific selection of seed beads, and has put together kits in many different color/finish packages. Inspired by this, I asked several Delica sellers if they would consider this situation and put together some packs of Delica beads for new users. Here are the results of that request. Some of the packages list the beads by color/finish types. Some list color-like sets. All are cool.  If you love Delicas but are just starting out, give these a try!
