A Bit of Beady Fun and a Little Contest
Dateline: 01/29/01I needed a little break this week so I would like to re-run a great little puzzle form our former Guide, Emily Hackbarth!
And, along with this fun word search, I would like to offer a little contest! The first person who can send me links to the following ten clues will win a copy of the book Beading on a Loom by Don Pierce!
These will all be bead related links, which can be found on the Beadwork Site, under the various Subjects! I need the exact link, and I think these are pretty easy! They will be found under "Subjects" only, and on the first page of each. There are no trick sites here, they are all in plain view! Get ready, here's the list!
1. Home of some million year old tree resins, a material valued today by lots of bead workers! Hint: Also a girl's name!
2. A huge beadwork show, not just beads, but clothing closures, too!
3. Dancing Bears for the warped are here!
4. Everything you ever wanted to know about a Mala is here!
5. A title to an old song, and the three B's we all wear!
6. Get out of a sticky situation with this great advise!
7. We did the big version in the 70's, but now seed beads and little teeny knots make dainty and delicate jewelry! A whole site on how to do it!
8. A place to get you beautiful " daily special" handmade beads, and a recipe for dinner, too!
9. Your "basic" headquarters, if you love intricate, handmade silver beads from the South Pacific!
10. The Cadillac of design programs, but ya gotta Mac out to use it!
Send your answers to me via email, with "Bead Search: in the Subject line. The first person who sends me all 10 links will win the copy of "Weaving on a Loom" by Don Pierce, a wonderful book about loom weaving! OK, beaders, START HUNTING!
