I was excited to hear that Varvara was planning a venture into book writing. I know her work and I figured that if she were going to publish something with the same exacting standards of her patterns, we would be in for a treat!The book includes a clear introduction to the technique and a tutorial on the Chevron Chain are given. Materials and useful tips are discussed to help make your project a success. The actual branched fringe coraling technique is described with several clear thread path graphs and vertical netting is also explained and diagrammed with instructions for increases and decreases. There are instructions for nine separate and projects, which are presented with full diagrams and explanations. Projects include necklaces, lariats, bracelets and earrings.
Very reasonably priced at $17.00 for the print version or $15.00 for the CD version, this one deserves a spot on your shelf!
